Hi. I am travelling to Disneyworld for the first time in March- we have 3 kids, 1,5 and 7. If we do fastpass, can we split the group so one waits with the baby while the other 2 go on and then switch? Or should we book 2 different fast pass times? Thanks!

    Hi Gemma!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Utilizing FastPass+ in conjunction with Rider Switch is a great way to really maximize your time and enjoy more attractions during your visit at Walt Disney World Resort!

When using FastPass+ selections with Rider Switch, not everyone in the party needs a FastPass+ reservation, just the first boarding party. For Rider Switch, you'll want to first make sure it's available for the attraction then approach the queue as a complete group and let the Cast Member know that you are planning on using Rider Switch. Your first group will board and your second party will receive entitlements on their MagicBands to return to the attractions afterwards. While the first group enjoys the attraction, your second group waits with the little mouseketeer. The group that receives the entitlements to return can be a maximum of three individuals, so use this when planning who will need a FastPass+ in group one. The entitlement essentially works as a FastPass+ for the second party and they are able to queue in the shorter line.

I hope this helps in planning your upcoming visit! Please come back and visit us again :)
