Hi, we are travelling to Disneyland Resort in October with our 8 month old. It's my understanding that she will be able to go on any rides with us that do not have a height restriction. Is this correct? Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks!

    Hello Shannon,

Thank you for writing us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a Disney day!

Yes, you are correct Shannon, there are so many attractions at the Disneyland Resort that will accommodate your entire family to ride with no height restrictions. For those attractions that may have a height restriction too tall for your younger Mouseketeer, you may utilize the Rider Switch Pass.

Guests should notify the Cast Member upon entering the queue line that they would like to utilize the Rider Switch Pass. One adult will wait with the child(ren) not riding the attraction. After the Guests have waited in line and enjoyed the attraction, the Guests will take turns watching the child(ren) not riding. Then the waiting adult may bring one (1) Guest along with them to enjoy the attraction. That adult and Guest will not have to wait in the regular queue line, the Cast Member will let you know where specifically to return with the Rider Switch Pass.

I used to utilize a baby wear style carrier when each of my Mouseketeers were young. For attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, I would simply board the attraction wearing my child. It made riding attractions a breeze.

I hope this helps and that you have a pixie-dusted visit. If you have any more questions, please visit me here and let me know how I can help you plan your magical vacation.

    Wishing you magic!
