We are travelling to Disneyland and are hoping to spend New Years Eve in Disneyland for 2016/2017.Is the park open and do we need to purchase additional tickets for the event.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Patricia. I'm excited to hear you'll be spending New Year's Eve at the Disneyland Resort

I'm happy to report that the parks will be open for your enjoyment and you will not need additional tickets to enjoy the New Year's Eve festivities in the parks. You'll be traveling during a very busy time. In the past, Disneyland Resort had to temporarily halt Guests' entry into the parks due to maximum capacity. I recommend arriving early to ensure you and your family will be able to enjoy your time in the parks.

I hope this information is helpful for you. I wish you and your family a magical time to the Happiest Place on Earth, Patricia. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.

I am a wife and mother to 2 children, a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I have always enjoyed going to Disneyland Resort as a child and now that I am a mother, I love watching my children experience Disneyland Resort through their eyes. It is a true delight seeing my daughter wear a ball gown walking side by side with Cinderella or my son jumping gleefully after he defeated Darth Maul in a light saber duel! Learn More About Kiki
