Hi! We are travelling to Disney world in August. Is it possible for both my husband annd I and our daughter to queue in the single rider line and then to parent swap once we are inside? That way we will be all together but only one of us will be riding?

    Welcome Bonnie!

Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are so happy to help you plan your unforgettable Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

When you and your husband are ready to use the Rider Switch Service, your whole family will approach the friendly Cast Member at the entrance to the FastPass+ queue and let him or her know that you would like a Rider Switch Pass, please. Then, whichever rider would like to experience the attraction now will head on through the FastPass+ queue or the stand-by queue according to your plans. The remaining Guest and child should feel free to head out and explore another attraction while waiting to reunite. There is not currently an option to wait together in the queue.

Don't let individual time bring you down! The queues at Walt Disney World Resort are incredibly themed right down to the last detail. Try to pick out all of the special designs of each attraction. Many also even offer interactive experiences while you wait for the main event. Finally, consider Pin Trading! This is such a fantastic way to make new Disney Friends while waiting in the queues. Striking up a conversation is easy when it starts with an exciting pin trade.

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally

"To all who come to this happy place, welcome." I am the lucky wife to my brave Prince and a stay-at-home mom to two bold and brilliant little girls; one a Jedi Padawan and the other a Princess. Joining the Disney Vacation Club meant that our family could travel to a "World of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy" as often as we could sneak away, so we do! I would be thrilled to sprinkle a little Pixie Dust on your next unforgettable vacation. Learn More About Sally
