Hi! we're travelling to Disney in september (we're 3 ad & 2 kd) with the DDP quick service and would like your recommendation on how to use the credits for not spending extra money on meals during our stay.

Congrats on your upcoming trip to Disney!

You are going to love the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) We get it everytime we visit and find that it saves us so much money, time and stress.

You can maximize the value of your plan by bringing your own breakfast items from home, such as small boxes of cereal, granola bars, protein bars, dried fruit and nuts and enjoying those items in your room or on your way to the park. You can then save your Quick Service credits for enjoying lunch at the park and use your Table Service (TS) credits for a nice sit down dinner.

Make sure to make all of your Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) in advance by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

You can use your snack credits to buy a wide range of items, from bottled water to fruit to ice cream cookie sandwiches. You can use these throughout the day or bank them and use them to buy cookies and other bagged snacks as souviners for your friends back home!

Another way to maximize the plan value is to substitute fruit (such as bagged apples or grapes) in place of dessert and then save the fruit as a snack for later in the day.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
