We are travelling to Disney in May with my 5 and 2 y/o, we are planning on bringing our double jogger since its more comfortable for the kids. Will the double jogger be too big and bulky around the park? we are renting a car so using the bus isn't an issue

    Hi Courtney!

The first time I had the opportunity to travel to Walt Disney World with a child was when my wife and I brought our 5-year-old niece with us. Being a that I'm an overachiever, I thought we'd be fine without a stroller. I planned to just carry my niece around if she got tired and needed a break from walking.

Boy, did I learn my lesson quickly!

Even 5-year-olds need the help of a stroller because there's a lot of walking to be had around Walt Disney World!

With respect to your double-jogger, you should have no problem navigating through the theme parks. In fact, guests can even rent double-strollers from Disney if they decide to leave theirs at home.

The only word of caution I can provide is that you might have to exercise some patience when the crowds are thick (e.g. along parade routes, upon exiting shows, and upon entering or exiting the theme parks). Walt Disney World is an amazing sensory experience, so people sometimes lose track of where they're walking or forget that people might be walking behind them when they stop to take a picture. So, you might have to keep your defensive driving skills handy.

I hope that helps! If you should have any other questions, please feel free to let me know and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
