    Hi Lana -

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Because Walt Disney World property is so large, there unfortunately isn't one hotel that is close to everything. Regardless of where you stay, you'll need to take a bus to at least one of the parks. Given the age of your son, you'll probably be spending most of your time at the Magic Kingdom. In that case, I'd say that the hotels on the monorail loop (the Contemporary, the Grand Floridian, and the Polynesian) are the most convenient, since you can take the monorail to both Epcot and the Magic Kingdom. If you stay at the Contemporary, you can even walk to the Magic Kingdom.

However, those hotels aren't as appealing to toddlers - they have more "adult" themes. The most appealing hotel for toddlers is probably Disney's Art of Animation, which is themed with Finding Nemo, Cars, the Lion King, and the Little Mermaid. The downside to staying at the Art of Animation is that you'll need to take a bus to all of the parks. We stayed there in 2012 and found the buses to be convenient.

If I were you, I'd probably stay at the Contemporary, since that's likely to be the easiest for you.

    I hope that helps!
