We will be traveling with our 8, 6, and 1 yr old in April. I have heard about rider swap but never used it. Can you explain it to me? Do we enter the fast pass line to use it, even w/o a FP for that ride? Can the older 2 ride again with the other parent?

Hey Alyssa!  I love using the rider switch passes,  it makes riding rides so nice for families with children not yet tall enough for certain attractions.

How the rider swap pass works is all of the members of your party go to the line entrance together, even your small child.  You then ask the Cast Member if you could have a rider switch pass.  The Cast Member will issue you one and the rest of your party can enter the ride.  If your party has Fastpasses for the ride they can use it at that time and if not they enter the ride using the standby line while you wait with your small child nearby.  Once your family is off the ride, you and two other people can be admitted into the ride using the Fastpass lane.  I love that additional riders can come along with you so the other parent can experience the attraction with their children as well.

You can use the rider switch passes wherever there is an attraction with a height restriction.  I hope you all have a magical vacation!
