We are traveling on the Wonder in August to Alaska. Should we take every opportunity to experience shore excursions or will there still be fun stuff to do on the ship instead?

    Ahoy Shelly!
This is a great question!  I've done a lot of research on the amazing Alaskan voyages and can't imagine visiting this spectacular area without venturing ashore for the phenomenal Port Adventures.  Many of Disney Cruise Line's offerings in Alaska are exclusive to Disney, and the experiences will create memories that will last a lifetime. I understand not wanting to miss anything on the ship because the Disney Wonder is an incredible vessel. You will have plenty of time to enjoy all the activities and amenities when you are cruising.
Last summer, DCL Mom, Andi cruised the Alaskan voyage and made an informative video series that is very helpful for future cruisers like you!  I definitely recommend watching to get great ideas of what to expect and what to experience during your wondrous adventure!  After your sneak peek, let me know if you have any further questions!
Have a magical day and happy planning!
