We are traveling w/my inlaws who have their own dining plan. However, we want to eat together at the same "table service" places. When making reservations on line, is there a way of stating this so that we know we are not across the building fr

    Hi Lucretia,

No worries, you can all eat together at the same table! When booking your Advanced Dining Reservations, make them for the total amount of Guests who you want to dine with. Include your in-laws in that count. Once you are seated together at your table, your Server will ask if anyone is on the Dining Plan. At that point tell them that you are all on it, but are in separate rooms (so you need different checks). I've actually dined with 4 families at the same table. Three were on different Dining Plans and 1 family was paying cash. Disney is very used to splitting checks and billing them multiple ways. You just need to point out for them who is on which check at the beginning of your meal.

Enjoy your vacation with your family,
