We are traveling to WDW in 2 weeks with our almost 2 year old son. We only booked 1 room (I just tried calling to upgrade to a suite or add an adjoining room and they are booked) how do we handle him sleeping in the same room as us?

    Hi Sarah,
Thanks for submitting your question and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I've traveled to the Walt Disney World Resort many times with young ones (we live close by and will stay for the weekend). There is a good chance that you will wear your little one out and that he will be fast asleep before you return to your resort room. Late nights, busy days and many things going on all day will tire him out quickly.

If you would like an additional room or an upgrade and one isn't available, I would suggest that you keep calling and trying to change your reservation. People cancel or postpone their reservations all the time; persistence is the key for this. While there are no guarantees that this will work, it is worth it to try. Be sure to ask the Cast Member assisting you at check in if there are any additional or upgraded rooms available if you haven't had success up to that point.

Sarah, I hope you have a wonderful vacation!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
