We are traveling to WDW Sept. 3-10. We will be staying in a 2 br villa with 4 adults and 3 children. I am curious what dining plan is the best to purchase. We will want to do several character meals at Cinderella's Castle, Ohanas and Chef Mickeys. TY

    Hi Natalie,

Staying in a two-bedroom villa for your Walt Disney World vacation with a larger group is a great plan. You will have so much space to spread out! Also, since your question is related to dining, do not forget that in a two-bedroom villa you will have a full kitchen. My family enjoys cooking at least one meal a day together in our villa when we are at Walt Disney World.

There are three choices for Disney Dining Plans: the Quick-Service Dining Plan, Disney Dining Plan, and Deluxe Dining Plan. There are brochures to download from the page that I linked with information on each. Simply put, for each member of your traveling party, here is what you will be entitled to on each plan for each night of your stay:

Quick-Service Dining Plan: two snacks and two quick-service meals
Disney Dining Plan: one table-service meal, one quick-service meal, and two snacks
Deluxe Dining Plan: three meals and two snacks

All dining plans also offer a resort refillable mug to each person. Which dining plan is right for you depends on which plan fits your needs. It sounds like you will not want the Quick-Service Plan as the restaurants that you mention are table-service meals. Also, please do be aware that certain restaurants will require two credits. Of the restaurants that you mentioned, Cinderella's Royal Table will require two table-service credits per person. You can still do this on a Disney Dining Plan as you receive your allotment of meal credits for your whole stay, not day-by-day. The Deluxe Dining Plan does offer a lot of food, so consider that in your decision of which Dining Plan to purchase.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Natalie. Please do let us know if you have any further questions!
