We are traveling to WDW next month and arrive at the airport at 6:00 p.m. We are staying at the Coronado Springs and have dinner reservations at Ohana at 8:10 p.m. Do we have enough time to check in and get to dinner? How do we get to Ohana from CSR?

    Hi Stephanie,

How exciting that your trip is so close!  'Ohana is a wonderful spot for dinner, with great fire-grilled meats, veggies and dessert, however,  I think your timing is a bit too close for comfort.  The folks at Disney's Magical Express estimate that it can take up to two hours from the time you arrive at the check-in at the airport to the time you arrive at your resort.  You then have to check-in at Coronado Springs, board a bus to the Magic Kingdom, and then transfer to a monorail to the Polynesian Resort, where 'Ohana is located.  In my experience, the Magical Express estimate is a bit conservative, and it has taken me closer to ninety minutes to arrive at my resort.  However, I would allow at least forty-five additional minutes to check-in, drop off your carry-on bags and make your way to 'Ohana.  I recommend pushing your reservation back or switching it to another evening to ensure that your first night on vacation isn't overly stressful!

    Have a wonderful trip!
