I am traveling to WDW in May with my 4-year old son who is ALL BOY! I know that WDW has some special Princess events, but I would appreciate any special activities or experiences that are "boy-focused." Thanks so much!

    Hi Blair,

The first experience that comes to mind for a little boy is The Pirates League. For $29.95 plus tax, your little guy can be transformed into a "First Mate". His package will include:
    • Choice of facial effect (5 to choose from)
    • Reversible bandana
    • Earring and Eye Patch
    • Sword and Sheath
    • Temporary Tattoo
    • Unique Pirate Coin Necklace
    • Personalized Pirate Oath
    • Official Pirate Name
    • Removable Teeth*
    • Participation in a daily Adventureland Pirate Parade
I brought 4 of my children to The Pirates League in October and it was a ton of fun!

Another idea: If your son is a Star Wars fan, he can join the Jedi Training Academy at Hollywood Studios. This promises to be a fun-filled experience as well.

You could also simply take him to the Lego Imagination Center at Downtown Disney where could choose some new Lego's to bring home and visit the Once Upon a Toy store to "Build His Own Lightsaber".

In addition, you can check the Daily Times Guide when you enter each Park to see which characters will be available for Meet & Greets. If he's like my boys were at 4,  he'll want to see Buzz Lightyear, Lightning McQueen, Mickey, Goofy and more.

Hope this helps and have a wonderful vacation with your little boy,
