We will be traveling to WDW in February. Me, my husband and 4 kids 8,5,3,3. My question is in regards to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. All my children are tall enough but i know it is only a 2 seater ride so wondering how logistically this will work for us?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tabatha! Thank you for stopping by to bring us your question. It’s our pleasure to assist you as you dream up, plan, and prepare for a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

Disney firsts are my favorite! My daughter finally reached the height where she can ride some of those bigger kid rides and it’s been a blast getting to experience those firsts with her. She rode Seven Dwarfs Mine Train for the first time just recently and her smile in the ride photos and video brought me so much joy! It was absolutely priceless. I hope your Mouseketeers enjoy it just as much. It’s a blast!

Tabatha, I would recommend utilizing the Rider Switch service and taking turns with your husband so everyone can enjoy the ride. Your 8yr old can ride by himself, but the younger ones need to be accompanied by an adult to ride. You will probably need to ride multiple times to make this happen, but it’ll be so much fun! With Rider Switch, the first person to take a turn will receive a paper FastPass+ that will allow up to three guests to ride at a later time using the FP+ queue. Because you have a unique situation with your little’s ages, I would alert a Cast Member so they can accommodate the additional ride so everyone can ride. No doubt they will make this magical moment happen for your family!

During your visit, be sure to locate the Baby Care Centers at all four theme parks for all your toddler’s needs. These fully equipped parent and kiddo havens are fully staffed and offer a great place to rest, refuel, and if your littles need a quick change, the facilities are the best!

Thanks again for stopping by! I hope your entire family has a memorable visit thanks to the Power of Magic!
