We are traveling to WDW in August as a surprise for my son's 10th birthday. I need ideas as to how to surprise him the morning of. We have to leave our house at 4:00 am. We have done surprise boxes, scavenger hunts, and letters from Mickey in the past.

Hello there, Radu! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop back by and ask another excellent Walt Disney World Resort question!

Happy early birthday to your son! Those are such wonderful ideas that you and your family have used to surprise him in the past! Hopefully, we can help you come up with some other options that are fitting for such a monumental birthday celebration!

Did you know that you can actually order authentic, customizable Disney Parks t-shirts and gear from the shopDisney website? This fun feature allows you to create personalized t-shirts for the whole family and even features exclusive designs that cannot be found anywhere else! Creating custom t-shirts for your family vacation to Walt Disney World Resort and surprising your son with one on the morning on your departure is a memorable way to announce your trip and dress for the occasion at the same time.

If you'd like for the birthday surprises to continue once you arrive, I would suggest looking into Disney Floral & Gifts! This service delivers pre-arranged or custom gifts and flower arrangements right to your Disney Resort hotel room. You can even book an "In-Room Celebration" and have your entire room transformed with a variety of Disney-themed welcome packages!

I hope this has given you a couple of ideas for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
