    Pamela from NY Asked

Traveling to WDW with 2 adults, and 3 kids (6 yrs, 5 yrs and 2 yrs). Will my husband be able to ride with both older kids on the rides with height restrictions while I'm with the 2-year old? I'd rather not use Rider Switch if possible.

    Hi Pamela,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  The answer to your question is yes. As a mom of 4 children, I have a great deal of experience with this same situation. When my twins did not meet the minimum height requirement, my husband and I took turns riding attractions with our older two children. We never encountered any problems when doing so. When riding attractions where 2 Guests are seated per row, I let my children sit together while I sat directly behind them.

If you do decide to take a turn riding with the older children as well, Rider Switch is a great service which affords both parents the opportunity to experience an attraction with their children. You may be happy to know the second set of riders will not have to wait in the regular line, but will be allowed to enter through the FastPass+ entrance.

I hope this information has been helpful to you. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to visit us again. Best wishes for a magical trip, Pamela!

    Happy Planning,
