We are traveling w/ two 8yrs old &a 2yrold. How does the rider switch work? Am I able to sit out with 2 year old while husband takes the bigger ones. then we swich and I take the 2 bigger ones on the same ride. do we all need a fast pass

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brittney!

Rider Switch is going to be such a great tool for you to use on your upcoming family vacation. I actually think that your family is the perfect size for using this service because your two bigger kids are going to get some fun hidden benefits, so let's chat about how you can use it when you visit Walt Disney World Resort this summer.

The way that you use Rider Switch is pretty much just how you described it. Let's say that your family wants to ride something with a height restriction that your littlest one isn't quite tall enough to ride, like Avatar Flight of Passage at Disney's Animal Kingdom. You'll all approach the attraction podium together, and a Cast Member will issue you a Rider Switch return time while your husband and your older kids wait in the line and ride. That way you can look after your toddler and grab something to eat or catch a quick show like It's Tough to be a Bug! When your husband and bigger kids are finished, you can tap your MagicBand to enter the attraction through the FastPass+ queue, and your older kids can ride again if they want to because the Rider Switch entitlement is good for up to three guests. If the first riding group wants to enter the attraction through the FastPass+ queue, everyone who ends up riding will need to have a valid FastPass+ for the attraction so that includes you, your husband, and both of your older kids. If the first group is alright with waiting in the standby line, then no one will need a FastPass+, but the second riding group will still be able to bypass the regular line using the Rider Switch entitlement.

I hope this answers your questions, Brittney, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
