We are traveling 11/30/15 - 12/5/15 with two girls 7 & 5. What are some must do's for us. The girls are adventurous, but have not been to many park and unfamiliar with the rides. What would you suggest?

Hello, Jennifer! When I visit a new theme park or water park, I like to tackle the biggest, scariest attraction first and then work down from there. That doesn't work for kids, though. They require a much different approach. My daughter tries new attractions on each of our Walt Disney World vacations, and I think it helps to work up to the wilder rides rather than focusing on them all at once.

You will find that most of the rides at Walt Disney World are absolutely appropriate for children of all ages, and the ones that do have a height requirement are a bit more adventurous (while still being safe and enjoyable for those that wish to ride). Some Magic Kingdom Park rides that I think will appeal to your girls are things like Mad Tea Party, Splash Mountain, Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid, and if they are willing to try, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. This mild-but-wild family coaster has a few sharp turns and sudden drops, but it's fairly mild compared to other roller coasters.

If you are hoping to make the most of your FastPass+ choices, it couldn't hurt to add in a character meet 'n' greet opportunity, as well. I highly recommend choosing an Anna and Elsa greeting as one of your FastPass+ selections if the girls are interested in these Frozen friends.

I think that it would be a good idea for you to start your vacation at Magic Kingdom Park, as the variety of rides of all thrill levels will better help your girls to prepare for some of the more thrilling rides at the other theme parks. Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park has some of the most adventurous rides.

Of course, the girls may surprise you and want to try everything! The best approach here is to just have fun. You will make many magical memories together, no matter what. If you need any more suggestions for your girls, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel, Jennifer. I hope that you and your girls have a very magical Walt Disney World vacation!
