I am traveling with two children under 3. My oldest is a tall 2 year old am I going to have to show proof of age?

    Hi Stephanie!

This question comes up frequently as parents worry about their children being under three but not necessarily looking it. Disney operates on the honor system with the guests so documentation is not necessary. When this does come up in questions I do suggest you simply bring a copy of the birth certificate as a backup that you might need for any reason. I know airlines have become very strict about lap children and you must show proof of age to them when you are traveling with a child under two years of age.

I also know that children are so honest that if a cast member asked them their age they would simply tell them without batting an eye. It is one of the things I cherish about children!

Remember that although your children will not need tickets or FastPasses for the attractions you will need to include them in your dining reservation numbers. The restaurants need to know exactly how many people they will need to seat whether they will be dining or not. That is for the safety of you and everyone else so chairs and high chairs are not sitting out in the aisles.

Have a great Walt Disney World family vacation!
