When traveling with a toddler is it worth getting a room that has a kitchenette or a suite that has amenities that includes a kitchenette or choose the character themed room instead?

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cecilia!

    Great question!

    My opinion? Choose both!

A stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort offers guests the option of character-themed Family Suites; these feature a separate sleeping area, 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette. Moreover, you can choose from The Lion King, Cars or Finding Nemo, each of which will charm you with their attention to themed detail. They are truly gorgeous, AND may help you bring the comforts of home that your little one will love during your stay.

When we first visited Walt Disney World with our toddlers, we found that microwaves and mini-fridges helped us keep everyone happy for those hours when we were in our room. The added space of Family Suites also means that your little one can nap in one room while the rest of the family can watch TV, chat or enjoy a snack in the other room, not having to be silent so as not to wake the napper. What a great feature!

Send more questions as you think of them, Cecilia; we love to help!
