Traveling with the D D P. Does my 9 year old always have to order off of the kids menu to use his credits. looking at the menus and most of them offer the same menu. I dont think he is going to want to eat the same food ever night.

    Hi Stephanie,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your delicious question!  I have some good news for you, earlier this year Disney made some updates to its various dining plans which allows Guests more flexibility.  Depending upon the type of your dining plan, your son will have more choices to accommodate his advanced palate for more grown-up meals.  If you have the Disney Dining Plan which entitles you to 1 Table-Service meal, 1 Quick-Service meal, and 1 Snack per day then your son will be able to choose from the adult menu for any of his Quick-Service meals.  If you have Disney Deluxe Dining Plan which entitles you to your choice of 3 Table-Service or Quick-Service meals and 2 Snacks per day, then your son may choose between either adult or child menu for both his Table-Service meals and Quick-Service meals.

I hope this information helps you with your meal planning Stephanie.  Please let us know if you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, we are always happy to help!

    Blessings,
