Will be traveling spring 2010 with twin three year olds. I was hoping to get accomadations with a separate room/ area for them to nap and sleep. The villas look so expensive. Can you suggest anything that won't break the bank?

    Hi Cathelene,

How exciting to be planning a Disney trip for your twins. They will have a blast. There are actually two great choices that are a little more reasonably priced than the Vacation Club Villa properties.

The first is the Family Suites at the All Star Music Resort. These suites have a bedroom with a queen bed, a kitchenette, two bathrooms and a living room area with a pullout sofa, and an ottoman and chair that both unfold and can comfortably fit a small child. The suites sleep six and depending on the season, start around $184 per night.  An added bonus here is the fridge that is included in the kitchenette area and two full bathrooms. The All Star Music is a value resort location and very popular with families. There is a great pool area and a food court with a number of quick service options.

The second option would be a Cabin at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. These cabins are individual units that feature a bedroom with a full size bed and bunk beds, a roomy bathroom, full kitchen and a sitting area with a murphy bed. Each cabin features it's own porch with picnic table and bbq grill. The cabins are very comfortable and adorable. An added bonus here is the full kitchen, complete with pots, pans, silverware, dishes, stove, refrigerator and microwave.  The property itself offers a number of amenities like Chip N Dale's campfire and movie, wagon rides, horse stables and more. Six can also sleep here comfortably and rates begin around $265 per night.

Both options offer a separate room for the twins to nap in. Room rates and availability can be found at www.disneyworld.com or by calling 407-939-7725. Hopefully one of these will help the kids slumber in peace and still keep a few pennies in your pocket.
