We are traveling with sixteen and have our reservations linked I was wondering what is the most people that can sit at a table at dinner? Also how close will the other table be to the first. Grandma will want to be as close to all grand-kids possible.

    Hi Sheena,

I regularly travel with large groups to Walt Disney World.  Many Disney restaurants can seat big groups together.  For instance, my school group of 22 was seated at one long table together at 'Ohana last June.  My Moms Panel friends filled two long rows of tables at Les Chefs de France for our gathering of 99 last September.  As you can see from these two examples, very large groups can be seated together.  Personally, I have found that the Cast Members will go out of their way to pull tables together to accommodate your group.  However, advanced dining reservations are a must at table service restaurants when big groups wish to sit together.  If you haven't done so already, be sure to call (407) WDW-DINE to make your arrangements.  Also, plan to arrive early for your dining reservations and be willing to wait, if necessary, to give Cast Members time to put tables together for all of you.  Rest assured that if it is necessary to separate your group, they will place you at tables that are as close together as possible.

If you have concerns about seating at specific restaurants, just let us know.  We'll be happy to tell you more about the seating plans at the restaurants about which you are curious.

Wishing you a truly magical vacation!
