We will be traveling with 10 people in the Spring of 2009 ... 6 adults and 4 kids (ages 7, 4, 4, and 2). We're having a hard time deciding where to stay. We want to have enough room for separate sleep times but don't want to spend too much money.

I have discovered if you don't mind a value resort that you can actually have 2 rooms and spend less than a suite or villa per night/stay.   Staying on site is definitely magical, but perhaps staying off site may be more economical if you are wanting to stay in one place.  If you chose to stay off property here are a few things to remember:  Always ask what times do the shuttles run to the Disney parks, inclusive of the last shuttle of the day.  We have discovered some stop running as early as 8 pm and the parks may not close until 10 or 11.  If you are off property and driving each day there is a fee to park in the lots which can add up.  Lastly, if you are going to be leaving and returning because of naps etc. the cost of gas is now become a financial issue.

If staying on:  I would recommend checking out the Family Suites at the All Star Music Resorts, as well as possible rooms at Old Key West.  I would also recommend looking at possibly requesting 3 rooms at perhaps All Star Sports with 2 connecting.  I would price compare.  All else fails there's the Fort Wilderness Campground, where you can RV or Tent camp.  Hope you have a fabulous trip!!
