I will be traveling with 5 other people, one of which is an annual passholder. We are coming up on our 60 day mark to make fastpass reservations but I just read passholders book at a different date. Is this true? What is suggested to keep us together?

    Hi Pamela,
Thanks for coming to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You've got a really good question. I'm a Florida Resident Annual Passholder and my typical FastPass+ selection window is 30 days. However, if I have a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation associated with my account in My Disney Experience, that window opens up to 60 days from the first day of my reservation. If the Annual Passholder is a registered room guest, you will be able to include them in your FastPass+ selections at the 60 day mark and you can make your selections for the duration of your trip (ten days or the length of your stay, whichever is shorter) at that time. I would make FastPasses for as many people as possible at the 60 day point. My reasoning is stated below.

If your Annual Passholder is not a registered room guest, I suggest trying to overlap their FastPass+ selections with the ones for your group. It is much easier to obtain a FastPass+ selection for one person than it is for a group of people once the 30 day mark arrives. You may find that your FastPass+ windows aren't exactly the same, but if they overlap for as little as 5-10 minutes, you can all enter the attraction together and use your FastPasses.

Pamela, I hope you have a fantastic Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Good luck with those FastPasses and I give you bonus points for thinking ahead!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
