    John from ME Asked

I will be traveling to park with my three year old autistic grandson. Are there any provisions to help him with this experience

Greetings John, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question. I have an Autistic son who loves visiting Walt Disney World Resort and it is there that he comes into his own, making us so hopeful.

The Disney Parks have an unwavering commitment to providing an inclusive, welcoming, engaging and accessible experience to all Guests and have developed Services for Guests with Disabilities including the Disability Access Service Card for Guests with Special Needs.

The Disability Access Service Card allows Guests with disabilities along with an allotted number of people from his or her travel party to schedule a return time at an attraction which is based on the current wait time. As soon as the attraction experience is completed, Guests are welcome to obtain a return time for another attraction. Guests may utilize this service in conjunction with the FastPass+ service. All information for the Disability Access Service Card and FastPass+ selections can be stored on everyone's MagicBands, which are scanned for entry into the respective attractions.

    Tips:
-secure FastPass+ selections for each day of your visit
-upon entry into any Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park visit Guest Relations to speak to a Cast Member about utilizing the Disability Access Service, please bring everyone with you including your grandson. A step by step process will be reviewed with you in detail including your selected FastPass+experiences

This planning echoes a visual schedule board which fosters security and stability with daily plans. Please return for more helpful tips for your future visit.
