I will be traveling into Orlando via cruise ship in April. We have a limited number of hours in Cape Canaveral but I really want to get a Disney fix with my family. Any suggestions? We arrive in port at 1:30 and must be back on the ship at 8 pm.

    Hi Kim!

Incorporating a visit to Walt Disney World in the midst of a cruise vacation is a grand vacation if you ask me.

The way I see it, you will have maybe 2.5 hours total to enjoy that taste of Walt Disney World, which can be plenty of time. Personally, I would not recommend a visit to one of the theme parks, because of the time restraint, however, there is plenty of magical happenings at Disney Springs. For example, you could enjoy some fun and bowling at Splitsville Luxury Lanes, or you can experience The Void: Step Beyond Reality and then grab a quick bite to eat, it is up to you. Either way, you want to ensure that you allow plenty of time to make it back to your cruise with plenty of time to spare. I hope this helps.

    Have a magical time!
