Family running through Cinderella Castle

    Michael from MI Asked

We are traveling to Orlando in May with 10 family members. My husband is a veteran (non-retiree). I would like to know what discounts or special offers are available to veterans and/or groups of 10. We are not staying on the Disney grounds.

Hey, Michael! What fun to plan a big family vacation like this one. I am always so excited when I can plan a trip for our whole gang to get together and enjoy the magic.

Military bases with a Morale, Welfare and Recreation ticket and travel office. They offer a regular military discounted ticket to Walt Disney World that will save you about 4-8% off the regular Magic Your Way ticket. Some bases can order the tickets for you if they don't carry them regularly, so you might want to call your local base before you trek over there.  It can take up to four weeks to get them. While this offer is subject to change, Camp Pendleton will sell the tickets over the phone and have them sent via FedEx.

Disney World group discounts usually kick in when you book 10 or more Walt Disney World resort rooms.

Thanks so much for your question, and enjoy planning this really special vacation. And thank you to your family for the sacrifices required of military service you all made on behalf of all of us.
