I am traveling in October with 2 kiddos (9&12) what rides are 3 seaters? Also are half day tickets available?

    Hi, Jena!

You’re going to make so many magical memories exploring the Happiest Place on Earth with your children!

In many cases, you can all ride in the same row on attractions with bench-style seating, like Pirates of the Caribbean, “it’s a small world” and Mad Tea Party. On other rides with shorter rows, such as Alice in Wonderland and Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sully to the Rescue!, you should be able to sit directly behind your children or next to one with the other in the row in front of you. Attractions that seat large groups of Guests at once, like King Arthur Carrousel, Storybook Land Canal Boats, and Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, are also great for your family to experience together. Some attractions feature individual ride vehicles that can only seat two to three Guests safely, such as Dumbo the Flying Elephant, The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, Haunted Mansion and Autopia. However, children ages 7 and older may ride unaccompanied, so one or both of your kids could ride in their own vehicle if the three of you cannot fit in one. Check with a Cast Member at the attraction queue if you have any concerns or questions.

As of now, one-day and multi-day theme park tickets are available for purchase at the Disneyland Resort, but not half-day tickets. If you’re looking for a way to squeeze extra magic into your visit without adding an additional day onto your tickets, visit the Downtown Disney District. You can browse the many shops, including World of Disney, which offers a huge selection of Disney merchandise in one place! The Disneyland Resort Hotels are also wonderful places to explore, shop and dine.

I hope this helps you plan, Jena, and that you have a perfectly pixie-dusted vacation! Please write back with more questions.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
