We are traveling next April with a 1 yr old, whom will be sitting on our laps on the plane. Was wondering, do we need to bring his carseat just for the bus ride from airport to the parks? Can he sit on our laps or can we borrow one?

Hi, Julie! He can sit on your lap if you'd like. The Magical Express and other Walt Disney World transportation vehicles do not require the use of car seats or booster seats.  On the Magical Express, if the Guests arrive with car seats or booster seats in tow because of airline regulations, they are usually asked to stow them under the bus.  There aren't any seat belts on the buses to secure car seats or booster seats anyway. The buses between resorts and theme parks do not require them, either.  So, leave those car and booster seats at home, travel light, and enjoy your trip! Your children will enjoy the freedom.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
