We will be traveling next April 2016. This trip will include myself, my husband, my daughter and her friend. We really need 3 beds, but don't want the extra cost of the suites. Any thoughts on how to go about handling this situation?

    Hi, Michelle!

You don't say how old your daughter and her friend will be when you travel, but there is an option for five guests at many of the Walt Disney World resorts.  Any of the deluxe resorts will have rooms that feature a daybed, which is ample room for a guest of any size.  Wilderness Lodge also has bunkbed rooms that would give you the extra bed.

You will also find Port Orleans Riverside and Caribbean Beach Resort both have extra beds.  You will find trundle or Murphy beds at these resorts, and while they are great options for a spare bed, they are a bit on the small side.  I have a 14 year old that is 5'10" tall, and she doesn't quite fit comfortably.

The biggest benefit to the value resort family suites is the extra bathroom.  With two girls in the room, you may find that to be the most attractive option.

Have a great time planning, and if there's anything else we can do for you, come on back and let us know!
