Hello, I will be traveling with my 4 month old and 2 year old in April. Should we bring our own double jogger stroller?or Should we rent a stroller? We will be flying and staying at Port Orleans. We will also have our Ergo carrier with us. thank you

    Hi Constance!

You are bring your kids to Walt Disney World Resort at such wonderful ages! We brought our kids last year at about the same ages and had a fantastic time. One of the things that helped us have a smooth trip was our double jogging stroller. Since you can walk quite a few miles during a day at the parks, it is essential to have a stroller that is easy to turn and easy to push. Cup holders for the adults are also a must for Starbucks in the morning and cool drinks in the afternoon. We also had our boys take their naps right in the park by reclining their seats and pulling down their sun shades. I would recommend any double jogging stroller you are planning to use for your trip should include those features.

Our family chooses to bring our stroller from home with us so we can use it in the airport. With the traffic and the rush, our family does better if the boys are in their seats in the airport both before and after our flight. We check the stroller at the gate and it is waiting for us at the gate when the plane lands. I have travelled without the stroller before and used an Ergo carrier or a Moby wrap for the baby, but someone ends up having to carry my older child, which can get very tiring. Your stroller will be able to ride with you on Disney's Magical Express to Disney's Port Orleans Resort.

While both of my boys and I loved both our Ergo and Moby Wrap, I found I had to be really careful wearing them while at Walt Disney World Resort because of the heat and humidity. Many times, especially during the heat of the day, both my baby and I preferred touring the parks in the stroller so neither of us got too hot or sweaty. We both thought, however, that a wrap or carrier is a great way for you little one to get a nap in when he was fussy or to get through an air-conditioned queue or show.

I would love to help you if you have any more questions preparing for your trip! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
