We will be traveling with a 10 month old. Do we include him in the count of people for a dining reservation?

Hello Pamela!  Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

What a magical experience for your family to be taking your 10-month old to the Walt Disney World Resort where the Magic is Endless!  The earliest I ever took my children were at 20 months, but he had the time of his life splashing in the Schoolyard Sprayground at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  We also made sure to take advantage of the Baby Care Centers at each of the 4 Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks when he was all tuckered out, but his 4-year old big sister was still raring to go.

While making Advanced Dining Reservations for Table-Service meals, I always include the little ones in my count (and recommend you do too) for the table to ensure that there is enough room for everyone.  At buffets, like when dining with the gang from the Hundred Acre Wood at The Crystal Palace, and family-style dining locations, like the Best Friends Breakfast Featuring Lilo & Stitch at 'Ohana, children under 3 are free to eat from their own plate on a complimentary basis.

At Table Service locations where you order from a menu, children under 3 are free to eat from your plate.  If you would like to order them their own meal, then you will be charged for their whatever you order them.  In those cases, I usually order something for myself that will accommodate both my child and myself in terms of what we eat and size of the order (or extra side dishes).

    Bon appétit!
