Hi! Will be traveling with a 3 yo and a 19 mo. We will be in Disney for 4 full days...What park(s) should we skip? I'm almost thinking we should do 3 full days at Magic and 1 day some place else? Thoughts?? I don't want to be rushed and miserable!

    Hi Jennifer,

I love visiting the parks with little children. I absolutely agree with your philosophy of not being rushed and miserable. Knowing that you probably won't be able to do all four parks without rushing is really smart. As to which park to do for your fourth day - I think that it really depends on your family and your children's interests. I took my daughter when she was very young to all of the parks. Let me make some suggestions for activities at the other three parks based on your children's ages.

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, there are places to meet the characters from Disney Junior Channel. Your children might enjoy Disney Junior - Live on Stage, an upbeat puppet show, or having breakfast with these characters at Play 'n Dine at Hollywood and Vine, where the characters sing, dance, and interact with the children. At Epcot, your children may enjoy The Seas with Nemo and Friends in which you ride through the story of Nemo and end up in a huge aquarium where the children can see fish, dolphins, manatees and many other sea creatures! At Epcot, we also enjoyed the Living with the Land boat ride and Journey into Imagination with Figment when our daughter was young. Both of these are gentle rides with plenty for little ones to look at. Finally, at Disney's Animal Kingdom, if your children like animals, they will likely enjoy Kilimanjaro Safari, on which they could see live animals such as giraffes and zebras from an open-air safari vehicle.  If your children would like to interact with animals, take a ride on the Wildlife Express Train to the Affection Section, where they can pet animals.

I think that each park has something to offer for small children. Hopefully this gives you some guidance as to which would be good for your family. Happy planning, Jennifer, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
