We're traveling to the Mexican Riviera in October 2012. Although we will be spending time on the ship, I was wondering if there is anywhere in Cabo San Lucas in which we can observe Dia de las muertos safely? We have chosen our excursion for the other port

    Ahoy Lisa!
Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Your Mexican Riviera adventure is just around the corner and will be here before you know it!  I did a little research for you and found out that on November 1st they will be celebrating the Dia de las muertos in the Plaza Amelia Wilkes which is the town's main square.  Alters will be displayed by local families and the best one will be awarded a prize.  I have not been to Cabo San Lucas so my advice is to touch base with the Port Adventure Desk on Deck Three once you are onboard.  They can give you specific information on this area, and if they feel it is a safe spot for tourists.
I hope this helps, Lisa!  Please keep me posted if you think of any other cruise questions before it is time for you to set sail for on your magical Disney Cruise vacation!
    Have a "Wonder"ful day!
