We are traveling and meeting another family all staying at Port Orleans Riverside. Is there anyway connect the reservations so we are in the same area of the hotel? Ideally the same building?

    Hi Meredith,

I am delighted that you brought this question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney's Port Orleans Resort Riverside is a beautiful resort and I am sure you will enjoy all that the resort has to offer. You may certainly link your resort reservations if you are arriving on the same day. First, be sure you have both resort confirmation numbers. If you booked through a travel agent, I suggest that you contact the travel agent to link the reservations. If you booked directly through the Walt Disney World Resort, you may always call a cast member at 407-939-5277. I also suggest that you try to make special room and/or building requests when doing Online Resort Check-In. If you take advantage of online check-in, the resort will contact you when your room is ready. I typically take advantage of the text feature which allows them to send this information directly to my phone. The last time we stayed, I requested a ground floor room but when we received notification that our room was ready, the room was not on the ground floor. In the text message, there was a number that I used to call the resort. They were able to find a ground floor room for us as long as we were willing to wait for it to be cleaned. I share this story as a reminder that requests are not guaranteed but Resort Cast Members always do their best to accommodate requests!

Remember to also use the My Disney Experience planning tool. Using this tool, you can link your Dining Reservations and Fast Pass+ Reservations

Here's hoping you have a magical time!
