HI I will be traveling in may- may 17th to the 21st with my daughter for her 3rd birthday. Havent been to Disney is years and was wondering what is the best plan for her being that young? How many park days should I get? what is a must that we should do

Greetings, Lindsey! I think your name is fantastic! A happy upcoming birthday to your daughter, and I’m so glad you are returning to the Happiest Place on Earth! I first took my son to Walt Disney World Resort when he was 3, so preschool-age rides and magical experiences is something I have lots of practice with! There are over 80 attractions suited to a preschooler, and while our family usually spends at least two days, if not more at Magic Kingdom, though there are some great things to try in Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

At the age of 3, your daughter is old enough to experience a magical transformation into a Princess at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or a Mermaid Makeover at the Pirates League. It’s a must-do for a preschooler! There is also Jedi Training, where your little padawan can battle the Sith in Hollywood Studios just after seeing Disney Junior LIVE!

I would also recommend a 4 day Park Hopper Pass to get the most out of your vacation. Our family likes to arrive to the park opening to see the most we can, but we also know our kids are early risers. While the Baby Center offers a quiet place to rest or gather much-needed supplies, there’s nothing like the quiet of your hotel room for a mid-day nap, which let you visit another park in the evening. If you see a dining reservation for a character meal, grab it! Dining at your table means that characters come to you for autographs and photos, which means no lines and crossing 2 things off your to-do list. For a preschooler, a character meal at Crystal Palace or Hollywood & Vine are my family’s favorite choices.

I would love to help you more, so please ask me another question! Have a magical vacation! ~Lindsey P.
