Traveling in late November with 3 children, 5, 3 and 3 months. Any suggestions

    Hi, there!

Karen, I'm so pleased to hear you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this holiday season. And with little ones in tow! You are sure to make lots of magical memories together.

As a mom of three, I have some great tips that are going to make traveling to the theme parks with your kiddos a breeze:

    • Be prepared for a day of pixie-dusted adventures! Pack a well-stocked diaper bag that includes drinks, snacks, changes of clothes, diapers, wipes, and a few Ziploc bags (these come in handy for all sorts of reasons). Should you forget something, no need to fret! Stop by one of the conveniently located Baby Care Centers. The Baby Care Centers feature a changing room, private nursing room, living room area, kitchen, and on-site shop with baby care essentials available for purchase. We once ran out of diapers during a day at Magic Kingdom Park, and boy were we glad we could buy more at the Baby Care Center!
    • Plan on using a double stroller. Your oldest two may have outgrown a stroller at home, but exploring the theme parks requires a lot of walking and little legs tire easily! I promise you that you'll be glad to have a spare seat next to the baby when your older kiddos need a break. I prefer to take my City Mini Double Stroller to Walt Disney World. I love this stroller because the seats recline to a nearly flat position (perfect for a baby snooze) and the canopies are extra-large. It also folds quickly and easily which is exactly what you need for Disney bus transportation! To make your stroller stand out among a sea of others in the designated parking areas, attach a ribbon, nameplate, or balloon to the handlebar!
    • Arrive to the theme parks 30-45 minutes prior to official opening. You'll want to be through security and ticketing by the time the park opens because that first hour of the day is precious time! The theme parks are typically the least crowded early in the morning. You'll be amazed by how many attractions your family can experience with little to no wait.
    • Take advantage of FastPass+! I don't know about your kids, but mine don't wait well. Thanks to FastPass+, we can bypass long Standby lines as the park becomes more crowded in the late morning and early afternoon.
    • Use mobile ordering to maximize your time in the theme parks. This option on the My Disney Experience app will make grabbing a Quick-Service meal with your family super easy and convenient!
    • Plan to take an afternoon break. Experiencing the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort is going to wear your kids (and you!) out. My family always travels back to our Disney Resort hotel in the afternoon for a much-need nap. Once everyone is well-rested, we return to the theme parks in the evening for the nighttime spectaculars!
    • Use Rider Switch for attractions that your little ones are just too little for. With Rider Switch, you can take turns riding your favorite thrill attractions without experiencing two wait times while waiting with the baby.

I hope this was helpful, Karen. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
