When traveling with kids, which ticket is best? Should we go with the Park Hopper, or the Magic Your Way? If we go with the basic, and we go to Animal Kingdom, can we go home to rest and return to that same park in the same day?

    Hi Delia,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

My answer to your question is… it depends! My family usually chooses the Park Hopper option for our Theme Park Tickets because we typically take a break in the middle of the day, and then enjoy going to a different Theme Park at night for supper (usually Epcot).

However, I’ll admit that the Park Hopper Option is a bit of a luxury, and one that isn’t totally necessary, especially if this is your first visit to Walt Disney World Resort. If that’s the case, I would recommend that you concentrate on visiting one Park per day and save some money! Plus, even with a one-Park-per-day ticket, you can definitely leave the Theme Park you’ve chosen to visit for a few hours in the afternoon and then head back to that same Park later in the evening. In fact, that midday rest is the one thing that I would say is non-negotiable for an enjoyable Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

I hope my answer helps you plan your visit. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
