We are traveling with our 3 kids for spring break, our 9 year old son has autism - are there any passes so he doesn't have to wait in a long line, he obviously wouldn't understand waiting an hour for a ride!

Greetings, Jill, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am so pleased to hear that you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort. As a mother of an Autistic teenaged son we thoroughly enjoy our Disney Destination vacations enabling us to see many developmental and social gains from him giving us great hope.

Walt Disney World Resort continually strives to provide an inclusive and welcoming experience for all Guests. May I offer you Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities which is a thorough planning tool in preparation for your upcoming visit. I love using the step by step itinerary which reminds me of a daily schedule board.

Upon your entry into any Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park, I encourage you to visit Guest Relations along with your travel party including your son. Once there, please seek the advice of a Cast Member regarding Disney Parks Disability Access Service which is designed to assist Guests who are unable to wait in the conventional queue as a result of a disability, including non-apparent disabilities.

If the Cast Member issues the Disability Access Service (DAS), they will photograph your son and link all MagicBands for the (DAS) for your travel party together. The Cast Member will explain how to utilize the service effectively to you.

May I also direct you to full customization of your vacation through My Disney Experience where you can make Disney Dining Reservations, securing FastPass+ experiences and personalizing MagicBands which will be beneficial to you.

    Wishing you a magical vacation.
