If we are traveling with 2 kids and 5 children and one child isnt tall enough to ride a ride can we all stand in line...then pass him off as the others get off? Just to save time?

Greetings, Amber! Traveling with little kids to Walt Disney World Resort is no problem when you use a service like Rider Switch. Our family has used Rider Switch for several years with little kids that are still striving to reach the height minimums for many attractions!

I have a baby girl that doesn’t meet the height requirement for many rides like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, so when it’s time to use our FastPass+ for this favorite ride of my son’s, we split up. As a family, we approach the Cast Member at the entrance of the attraction and ask for a Rider Switch pass. Then, I chaperone the baby while my husband and son enjoy the singing, mining dwarfs on the gently rocking coaster with the pass. When they exit the ride, I pass off the baby and then take my son to enjoy the ride with me, using the FastPass+ line, which cuts down on waiting time! Rider Switch chaperones are allowed to take another rider with them so they don’t have to experience an attraction alone. It’s a great way for every eligible member of our family to take in the sights of Tower of Terror, but keep the baby safe and entertained while we do!

You can see the official list of attractions that offer Rider Switch on the website, but if you feel the need for the service at another attraction, just ask the Cast Member if it is offered. You’ll be able to carry any baby onto rides like Peter Pan’s Flight, or into shows like Voyage of the Little Mermaid with no problems. I hope that you are able to schedule fun for each member of your family on your upcoming vacation! ~ Lindsey P.
