We will be traveling with an infant. On the rides where infants are not allowed, are we allowed to take turns riding without having to go back on making a line?

    Hi, there!

Alexia, I'm thrilled to see you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with an infant in tow. We'll be taking our infant daughter this summer for her first magical glance at Cinderella Castle, and we can't wait! It's my pleasure to answer your question today.

I'm happy to tell you that with Disney's Rider Switch Service, no one in your group will need to miss out on attractions that your infant can't ride! When you're ready to experience an eligible attraction, approach the Cast Member at the entrance and request to use the Rider Switch Service. The adult waiting with your infant will be given a Rider Switch Pass to hold on to, while the other member (or members) of your party will enter the Standby line to ride. Once the first rider has finished, the waiting adult can use the Rider Switch Pass to enter the FastPass+ line to ride the attraction with little to no wait, while the first rider is waiting with the infant! Here's a fantastic tip - you can use FastPass+ Service AND Disney's Rider Switch Service together, so that both groups riding can utilize the FastPass+ line. This is my family's favorite way to save precious time at the theme parks! Simply secure a FastPass+ for whoever will be riding the attraction first. There's no need to make a FastPass+ reservation for the second rider because they will enter the FastPass+ line with their Rider Switch Pass!
