    Sandy from ON Asked

hi - I am traveling with my husband, 2 kids (2 year old, and 10month old), and my parents on May 2013 on a cruise departing from Port Canaveral. We are arriving one night prior to departure. Do you recommend staying at a hotel in Port Canaveral or Orlando?

    Hi Sandy!

If you are flying into Orlando, I would suggest that you stay at a Disney resort.  You could enjoy Downtown Disney for a few hours and then grab the shuttle service to Port Canaveral the following morning. It's very convenient, and really stress free.  It's also a great way to start a Disney vacation!

Remember, Magical Express is complimentary when you travel from Orlando International Airport to a Disney resort.  The shuttle service from the resort to Port Canaveral does charge you a fee.   You can add this service by looking up your reservation at www.disneycruise.com.  Please find the option to "Customize Your Cruise." Click this button and look for "Add" or "Change" your existing reservation.  You can also call (800) 951-3532.  A Disney Cruise Line Vacation Specialist will be able to help you.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Have a magical trip!
