We are traveling with a high school choral group that is performing in the Candlelight Processional. Parks close early at 6:00 or 8:00. Looking for suggestions for evening activities after the parks close. We are not going to Mickey's Christmas party.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sally!

Congratulations to your High School Choral group on landing a spot to sing at Epcot’s Candlelight Processional this Holiday season! What a cool and unforgettable experience for those students to get to sing with a full orchestra and the Voices of Liberty during one of my favorite special holiday entertainment offerings of the season.

The Walt Disney World Resort is best known for their world class theme parks. But there is so much more to do in the resort! First off, Disney Springs. This bustling shopping, dining and entertainment mecca is full of things to do, places to see, and dining to enjoy. There is no admission and parking is complimentary.  Some of my favorite quick service restaurants are located at Disney Springs, but if you’d prefer a nice sit-down meal, be sure to get your reservations booked early. You can start making those as early as 180-days in advance!

Another fun option is mini-golf! There are two Disney inspired mini-golf courses in the resort that I’m sure a big group of high schoolers would have a blast enjoying a game or two! Winter Summerland Miniature Golf is located right next to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, and Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf located in the Epcot Resort area.

And what about a meal at one of the amazing resort restaurants? If you time it right and choose a restaurant with a view, you could maybe even enjoy a firework spectacular during your meal, like at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort's restaurant, 'Ohana!

As you can see, the possibilities are plentiful! I hope you have a magical time during your visit. Don’t hesitate to come back and see us for any additional questions or tips for your upcoming trip.
