Our traveling group -- mom, Dad and 6 year old daughter. We're hitting Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom for our three day stay. How would you divide your time and where would you use the Fast Pass feature? A lot to learn about a trip there!

    Hi Betty,

Your family's makeup is the same as mine - mom, dad, and daughter!

I suggest two days at Magic Kingdom and one day at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Both are wonderful theme parks, but I think this will be a good split of your time as Magic Kingdom has so many attractions! This means that before you travel, you can make six Disney FastPass+ selections for Magic Kingdom (three on each day), and three for Disney's Animal Kingdom. If I suggest more than these amounts for each park, you should decide will depend on your family's likes and interests. Also, be sure to check the height requirements on these attractions, which are listed in the attraction links I give, to be sure that your daughter is tall enough for each.

As for Magic Kingdom attractions, if your family likes slightly more thrilling rides, take a look at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. All of these attractions can build long queues, so they are a great use of Disney's FastPass+ system. Other attractions that my family enjoys that can also build longer queues and are thus a good use of Disney FastPass+ system are Peter Pan's Flight, Tomorrowland Speedway and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin.

In terms of Disney's Animal Kingdom attractions, my family always likes to have a Disney FastPass+ selection for Kilimanjaro Safaris to see the animals. Again, if your daughter likes more thrilling rides, consider Expedition Everest. Finally, take a visit to the new and highly detailed land Pandora - World of Avatar. The two attractions here, Na'vi River Journey and Avatar Flight of Passage are both good choices.

Please let us know if you have any further questions, Betty!
