We are traveling for the first time with our children. My 8 yr son has c/p he wont be able to ride. will they let us wait while my husband rides with one child, and when they get off, myself and our other child get on? I really dont know what to expect

Great question!  At the entrance to the ride, tell the cast member you would like a rider switch pass.  Your party will then stand in line and wait to ride the attraction.  Meanwhile, you'll be given a pass that entitles you and two other members of your party to enter the attraction at a later time via the Fast Pass line.

In other words, if you have a party of five.  Your husband and two children will stand in line to enjoy the attraction.  You may use your swap pass immediately after they exit the ride, but you can also choose to come back at a later time.  When you decide to use it,  you and up to two other members of your party, will be allowed to enter the Fast Pass line and have a much shorter wait time.
