hi we are traveling on our first cruise in october 12 and will be on board the dream for halloween I was wondering if they do anything to celebrate haloween and if they do will this be instead of the pirate party Thankyou

    Hi Joanne!

Thanks for writing back!  Holidays onboard Disney Cruise Line are always extra magical!  Since October is still a few months away, specific details for your cruise are not set, but I will give you an idea of what has occurred in the past.  Costumes are welcome, and you'll be happy to know your favorite characters will be decked out in their Halloween attire for the special occasion.  There may even be a costume party and contest for Guests!  A special Halloween Deck Party is usually planned as well as trick-or-treating!  Festive decorations will set the mood, and delicious treats and candy will be available!  You will want to check your Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter for all the fun-filled Halloween activities on your sailing!

Celebrating Halloween should not affect your Pirate Night onboard.  A pirate-themed dinner, Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Party, Buccaneer Blast, a Firework Spectacular, and Club Pirate make this night one of the most memorable experiences of  your cruise!  Again, check your cruise newsletter for all the details for this swashbuckling good time!

I hope my answers help with your planning, Joanne!  Please let me know if you think of anything else before your October sail away!

    Have a wonderful day!
