I am traveling with my family the 3rd wk in Oct. and wonder how the morning crowds will be at the parks. We are coming from Mt time and would love to have breakfasts at 9am and be at parks by 10.Everything I read says to get there early. What do you think?

    Hi Jennifer,

I love Disney in October.  It is cooler, lines are shorter and EPCOT has the Food and Wine Festival.

I think you can totally have breakfast at 9:00 am and then start touring at 10:00 am. I would recommend you stick to this plan if it works for your family.  There is nothing worse than moving a child-vacation or not-when they normally do not move.

The books will say to get there early because the emphasis is for everyone to see everything.  This is the quickest way to a terrible vacation.  My golden rule is to travel on the schedule that your family would normally operate on.  This is not to say I do not have my princess out late once or twice on vacation but I make sure to go to a park later the next day.  I love Grumpy as much as anyone but not for seven straight days!:)

    Have a magical vacation!
