We are traveling with a family of 19. Some rides we would all like to be together and some we may split. Also concerned about the chances of getting a fast pass for the entire group. Should we order all our tickets under 1 account or separate account

    Hi Alyssa!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I often travel with extended family and friends and so I have some experience making FastPass+ selections for large groups. There are a few ways to go about doing it.

As you mentioned, you can have one person be the master account holder. They can create a My Disney Experience Account and add all 19 family members to that account. I don’t recommend this method. While it seems easier at the beginning, it means less flexibility for everyone on the trip itself.

I recommend that each smaller family grouping, and preferably each adult, create their own My Disney Experience Accounts. If there are children, one adult from each smaller family group should add their own children. In my family, both my husband and I have My Disney Experience Accounts, but the children were added by me under my account. Then use the Family & Friends option to link everyone together. This way, each smaller family can purchase and link their own tickets. This also means while in the parks, everyone can use the My Disney Experience Mobile App to check plans, make changes to their FastPass+ selections, and view PhotoPass Photos.

Once everyone has a ticket and is linked, have one family member be the "Official FastPass+ Maker." They can make FastPass+ selections for all 19 of you at once. Make your FastPass+ selections as soon as you are able, 60 days in advance for Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Guests, and 30 days for off-property Guests. While it may be difficult to secure that many FastPass+ reservations for some of the most popular attractions, you may have good luck. Last year I helped to make FastPass+ selections for my son’s marching band, with groups of 15 to 20 students, and I was able to get FastPass+ selections for many attractions.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know how else we can help as you plan your visit!
